for comment month / This guy looks SO happy. I love the genuine expression that fills up his entire face! I really like the background to the left of the picture, where a man is standing wearing rodeo boots. That gives this picture such an authentic "cowboy" look. As for improvement, I would definitely mess with the curves on Gimp or Photoshop. Bringing out the colors and definition a bit more would make a big difference. Right now it looks a bit cloudy, probably from the natural light. Great job!
