I'm hesitant to post this, as I've been experimenting with Lightroom Presets. I like it, what do y'all think?
Sydney Forrest of Gun Barrel City, Texas, lifts her foot at the last minute to avoid knocking over a barrel during the barrel racing portion of the Red Bluff Round Up on April 20, 2014 in Red Bluff, CA. Forrest went on to complete the barrel course in 17.53 seconds.

I think the style fits the photograph really well. And it might even bring out the light better than if it were in color (though I can't judge that 100% since I don't know the color or the b/w version )
I wish I could zoom around like that. I used to follow the Red Road and chase after pow wows, but money is now an icky issue for me So I get what I can around town. It's all good, I'm saving up for a horse round up next year
I love this look. I have lightroom and have not tried any of the presets yet. Not only do I like the effect put I love the picture itself. The tilt of the riders head says so much. The power of the horse really shows through and I think the Coors barrel makes an interesting statement. Great Picture!!
Thank you! I've been finding free presets for lightroom on the internet and downloading them. It's interesting to play with the presets to create different looks with the same one. And you can't have Cowboys/Cowgirls without Coors. They just go together!
